We are midway between Winnipeg and Regina, located on the Trans Canada Highway.  We share an entry road with Aspen Grove Campground (turn right for us). We offer "the getaway from your everyday" and a peek at nature. Look for the signs!

We all need to take a break from those crazy every day details of our lives.  A short (or long) drive to a peaceful rural setting is just the ticket!

Imagine a soft wind blowing and tree tops swaying.  Lush green trees and sparkling sunshine co-mingling. Beasties of all kinds share the land here; deer, fox, and many birds.  We have seen hawks, owls and a bald eagle.  There are many western Canadian birds to enjoy! Some early mornings you can hear the coyotes' haunting cries.

Let the vast prairie night sky inspire awe with millions of sparkling lights in the sky.  Native trees, grasses, and wildflowers will excite all your senses.

There are views of oak, poplar, chokecherry bushes, and other native flora. Help yourself to chokecherries, strawberries, and raspberries on your wanderings.

The rolling sand hills create an island of tranquility waiting to be discovered.

Note: We do not raise bees. We have an average amount of bees/wasps as does any outdoor area.

OUR HOME IS YOUR HOME!

Large light filled guest rooms and friendly folks await your arrival!  Our country home has four  guest rooms and many common areas available for you to enjoy.

  •  A breakfast room/gift shoppe
  •  Living room/library, this area has a woodburning fireplace and comfy sitting area.
  • Two full bathrooms upstairs (tub & shower) and a half bath on main floor.

Check for room availability today! We  have named our rooms after some native prairie plants we have found on our property!

The Lady Slipper Room:

A queen bed, sitting area by a wood burning fireplace and a kitchen nook (fridge/coffee maker etc.)  This is the largest of our rooms and is located on the main floor.  Lots of light, garden/patio view.  Antiques and original art compliment this room.

The Brown-Eyed Susan Room:

A double four poster bed and a sitting area. The decor is calming country. A splendid sandy hill view. This is our largest room on the second floor(fridge, coffeemaker etc.)

The Wild Rose Room:

Our mid-sized room located on the second floor.  Flowery and feminine, a big ole' double bed and a cozy corner. Great view of the country scape. Bright and beautiful.

The Prairie Cactus Room:

This space has one single and one super single vintage (early 1800's) bed frames.  It is your home on the range.  It is the smallest of our rooms but packs a punch.  Second floor location, great view of the country side. Sunny fun.
